Which? Wine Guide

The following text is taken from our report listed in Which? Wine Guide

Aware of competition from supermarkets and (being in Kent) the French channel port, this team delves into the world of wine with infectious enthusiasm, and a determination to offer adventurous, good value wines. From the Rhône and Languedoc the quality-price ratio is superb; more unusual (but no less tempting) is a penchant for red and white Pfalz wines from Germany - also good value.

Conventional choices focus on similar smaller, quality orientated producers but bring in Spanish Navarra, Ribera and Rioja, rich Italian reds from the south, and carefully chosen wines from Western Australia, Chile (Montes) and Argentina (Michel Torino).

The (no joining fee) customers club offers regular bin-end and discounted cases, Bordeaux en primeur options, and mixed cases tailored to suit.
